Dirty Night In Berlin

Evelyn is the voice of “One night in Ibiza” and “2012 (if the world would end)”. On the rise with quintessential EDM beats and vocals, here is her first single: “Dirty Nights”:

Speaker Bop

All dubbed out with this party sound…start raving. Datsik is sick, and add to that nasty flow of Snak The Ripper, and you get this remix by The Frim.

PS. Datsik is coming to Canada, so if you’re there, don’t miss out!

Burning for Hirshee

Dim Mak Records presents Hirshee. Talented? That’s an understatement, and after listening to “Burning For” you’ll know why. Featuring the sensational voice of Chaplyn, here is a track that jump starts your Friday.

“Out Of The Black”

>Post Title Goes Here<

“Joel’s fourth studio album, ‘> album title goes here <’ is now available! First single ‘Professional Griefers’ sees deadmau5 team up with My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way for a rousing stadium-size anthem fueled by propulsive production and a skittering hook. Think Queen siphoned through an underground rave, and you’re only halfway there. Then, there’s a hypnotic homage to Ray Bradbury on the shimmering eight minute-plus dreamscape ‘The Veldt’ featuring Chris James. ‘Take Care of the Proper Paperwork’ guts a gritty guitar track into a haunting dance movement, while ‘Failbait’ yields cybernetic rap with Cypress Hill terminating their verses on sight. Everything culminates on the ethereal bliss of ‘Telecommunications’, a collaboration with one of the world’s most intriguing voices, Imogen Heap.

UMEK is “100% Sure”

We don’t really know where UMEK got the name of his newest song, “100% Sure”, or what he was so sure about. But he sure seems confident. The song features a lengthy jungle beat intro before it really gets going. If you can stick with it for 3 minutes, you’ll get a small variation…and then it’ll go back to the repetitive beat. Seems like a rather incomplete track, but we’re waiting for some remixes:

Madeon–The City Official Music Video

A few weeks ago, we introduced you to Madeon’s fresh new song, “The City”. Here’s the official music video (perhaps inspired by the Hindu festival of Holi?), it will definitely bring a smile to your face. If only all wars and battles were like this:

Be Still

Kaskade aka Ryan Raddon works his magic in “Be Still”. With angelic vocals, steady dance beat, and the notorious minimal bassline, this is the definition of EDM. Even though this song is quite old from his album Love Mysterious, Kaskade just uploaded this on his soundcloud for your listening pleasure.

Laidback Luke–“Cambodia”

Check out this sick new track by Laidback Luke, entitled “Cambodia”. Tagged as “Filterdisco Bigroom” haha. Great beat!

Datsik!

DATSIK aka Troy Beetles, some might say sounds like a rapper name…well, they won’t be wrong. The Kelowna, British Columbia, native is a hardcore rap fan and looks towards Wu-Tang and others for inspiration. Nowadays, he’s producing dubstep – and he’s killing it with his aggressive base drops and sick remixes. Have a listen to all these tracks that he just dropped recently (two remixes [K.Flay, Linkin’ Park, Colin Munroe, and an original “Juicebox”) – all of them are worth listening to, particularly, if you’re thirsty for dubbing out, then “Juicebox” is your go to.

Dirty Disco Youth–Drive

Here’s a fresh new album, Drive, from one of Dim Mak’s artists: Dirty Disco Youth.  “Who is Dirty Disco Youth” you ask? According to his Facebook page:

“Dirty Disco Youth is a dance music project by 21 year old music producer and songwriter Phil Speiser. Born and raised in Vienna, Austria he is now living and working in Hamburg, Germany. After teaching himself classical instruments and music production phil founded In 2006, as an 15 year old Dirty Disco Youth. “

Bassnectar’s Witchcraft

When we find out that Bassnectar has released a new song, we get giddy with excitement. We’re like children on Christmas. Except when we heard his new song “Hexes”. We were actually a little scared while listening to it.  It completely changes your mood, we became paranoid that we were going to be affected by some very dark magic.  The music completely takes you over and Chino Moreno’s vocals could not be a better fit for the atmosphere created by the song. It has a classic Bassnectar vibe to it (think “Basshead”). Check it out, and watch your back:

A “Tornado” of Remixes

Tomato, tomahto. Potato, potahto. Tornado, tornahdo. Whatever you want to call it (although we would be a little disappointed in humanity if someone actually pronounces it as tor-nah-do). There are differences in everything. Check out these different remixes of Tiësto & Steve Aoki’s latest hit, “Tornado”. We blogged about all of the artists who remixed this track before. (Angger Dimas was featured in Aoki’s House 40 &41). Check em out:

Zdarlight (Fedde Le Grand & Deniz Koyu)–Update

We’ve talked about Deniz Koyu and Fedde Le Grand’s remix of “Zdarlight” before. And we made it pretty clear that we thought it was awesome. Although we normally don’t see official music videos for remixed songs, we can see why a video was necessary for this one. Looks like a party!! (oh wait). The song will be available for download on Beatport TOMORROW! We only wished it was longer!
